
'Samgyetang' season
Foreign students attending an international summer school taste "samgyetang," a soup of chicken and ginseng with sticky rice, at the cafeteria of Hansung University in Seoul on July 10, 2022, one day ahead of this year's "chobok," which marks the beginning of the hottest part of summer. Koreans traditionally consume samgyetang to replenish their strength during periods of hot weather that deplete their energy. (Yonhap)
