
Gaya Tumuli's UNESCO World Heritage certificate
This photo shows a UNESCO World Heritage Convention certificate, signed by the UNESCO director-general, confirming the inscription of the tumuli of the Gaya Kingdom (57 B.C.-668 A.D.), a confederacy of seven tribal states, in Korea's south-central region on the World Heritage List. The certificate was conveyed to the heads of local governments at a ceremony in Seoul on Nov. 27, 2023. (Yonhap)
