ICCROM head visits site of Pungnap Castle in Seoul

Webber Ndoro (2nd from L), director-general of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), visits the site of Pungnap Castle in southern Seoul on July 19, 2023. Located along the Han River, the castle, a national cultural asset, is believed to have been the palace of the Baekje Kingdom (57 B.C.-A.D. 668) and destroyed by Goguryeo, the strongest of the Three Kingdoms at the time.
