This undated photo, released by the Namwon municipality in South Korea's southwestern province of North Jeolla on Aug. 31, 2021, shows a farmer posing with Calvatia nipponica, one of the rarest species in the Calvatia genus and known as puffball mushrooms, that he found at an apple farm in a village at the foot of Mount Jiri in Namwon.

Tens of Calvatia nipponica mushrooms, which are said to have effects on hemostasis and detoxification, have been found at the same farm in the last 10 years, the city government said. (PHOTO NOT FOR SALE) (Yonhap)
