Truckers' strike

Containers are increasingly stacking up at a pier in the port city of Busan on Nov. 28, 2022, the fifth day of a nationwide strike by unionized truckers that has disrupted supply chains across the cement and steel industries. Truck drivers went on strike on Nov. 24, demanding the government extend temporary rules guaranteeing minimum freight rates, citing high fuel prices. (Yonhap)
