Invasive green algae pollutes seashore in Jeju
This photo, taken Dec. 15, 2023, shows invasive green algae called Ulva pertusa Kjellman on a beach in the city of Jeju on South Korea's largest island of the same name. The algae, called "gumenggalparae" in Korean, gives off a strong odor as it rots. (Yonhap)
