Controversy over opposition lawmaker's cryptocurrency investment
Kim Nam-kuk, a lawmaker of the main opposition Democratic Party, enters his office in the National Assembly in Seoul on May 9, 2023, as he has come under media scrutiny over suspicions he had held 6 billion won (US$4.5 million) in cryptocurrency. Prosecutors had unsuccessfully sought a warrant to search his financial records last year in relation to the investment, media reports said. (Yonhap)
