Ex-Ssangbangwool chief's 'safe keeper' arrested

The de-facto 'financial keyman' of embattled former chief of underwear maker Ssangbangwool Group is taken by the police for investigation in Incheon International Airport on Feb. 11, 2023. The man, identified only by his surname Kim, was arrested in Thailand and transfered to South Korea under suspicion of having aided Ssangbangwool Group head Kim Seong-tae whom the prosecution indicted for illegally delivering millions of dollars to North Korea for inter-Korean cooperation projects, in a case potentially linked to opposition leader Lee Jae-myung.
