Snow-capped mountain range in northeastern S. Korea
This photo, taken from the city of Gangneung on South Korea's east coast on Dec. 13, 2023, shows a snowy Baekdudaegan Mountain Range seen in the background following snowfall overnight. The mountain range divides the northeastern province of Gangwon into two regions, Yeongdong and Yeongseo. Gangneung falls in eastern Yeongdong, while PyeongChang, the venue of the 2018 Winter Olympics, is located in western Yeongseo. (Yonhap)
