Buddhist pilgrimage to India

A ceremony for a pilgrimage to India takes place at Jogye Temple in Seoul on Feb. 9, 2023. A pilgrimage group, which consists of 108 Buddhist monks and devotees, embarked on the 1,167-kilometer journey on foot to visit eight sacred Buddhist sites in India until March 20, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
