A Hwasong-18 solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is moved for launch on Dec. 18, 2023, in this photo released by North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency the following day. The ICBM flew 1,002.3 kilometers for 4,415 seconds at a maximum altitude of 6,518.2 km before "accurately" hitting the East Sea, according to the newswire. (For Use Only in the Republic of Korea.
