Ex-PM Lee Hae-chan dies

The body of former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan is carried into a vehicle at a general hospital in Ho Chi Minh City on Jan. 25, 2026, to be transported to a nearby military hospital. Lee, who was serving as a senior vice president of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council, died the same day after suffering cardiac arrest on a business trip to Vietnam, officials said.
