'Top Gun: Maverick' surpasses 1 million in 4th day of release

SEOUL, June 25 (Yonhap) – Tom Cruise's Hollywood action blockbuster 'Top Gun: Maverick' ('Top Gun 2') surpassed 1 million viewers on the 25th, the fourth day of its release in South Korea. 

Its distributor Lotte Entertainment announced that 'Top Gun 2' surpassed 1 million cumulative audiences around 6 p.m. on the same day. 

The movie has topped the box office for 4 consecutive days since its release on the 22nd.

'Top Gun 2' tells the story of a legendary pilot Maverick (Tom Cruise) who becomes an instructor of American naval fighter pilot training school.
