SEOUL, March 20 (Yonhap) -- BTS’ comeback concert "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE|ARIRANG," set to take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, will be livestreamed to 190 countries via Netflix.

Matching the group’s global stature, the event boasts an unprecedented scale in every aspect, from stage construction to broadcast equipment.

According to Netflix and HYBE on Friday, the concert is a global project involving a large production team composed of staff from 10 countries speaking eight languages, collaborating across six time zones.

The sheer size of the stage stands out. The roof reaches a height of 14.7 meters — comparable to a five-story building — while the stage spans 17 meters in width. The total length of power cables installed amounts to 9.5 kilometers, equivalent to lining up 41,536 BTS light sticks in a row.

The total power supply distributed across the venue reaches 9,660 kVA, while the LED displays feature a combined 50,669,376 pixels.

The scale of broadcast equipment is equally staggering. A total of 164,500 kilograms of equipment has been deployed, equivalent to 2,295 flight cases and 58 shipments. The broadcast team will operate 124 monitors.

A total of 23 cameras will capture the performance from multiple angles, including cameras installed on rooftops more than 1.6 kilometers away. Specialized equipment includes the aerial “EagleEye” system, the “Towercam XL” reaching heights of up to 10 meters, remote-controlled moving cameras and Steadicams. The total volume of recorded footage is expected to reach 108 terabytes, supported by 40 terabytes of server capacity.

A large-scale communication network has also been set up to enable coordination among hundreds of on-site staff, including 100 wireless intercom belt packs, 47 wired units, 35 intercom panels and 200 walkie-talkies.

The concert is directed by Hamish Hamilton, known for helming the Super Bowl halftime show, while HYBE and BigHit Music are overseeing overall production.
