Trot singer Kim Hee-jae made a ￦10M won donation for the navy

SEOUL, July 20 (Yonhap) -- Trot singer Kim Hee-jae, who served as a navy soldier in his military days, donated 10 million won for the sea forces on the 20th.

According to the navy official, as the mass infection of the novel coronavirus(COVD-19) within the Cheonghae unit raised concerns, Kim provided this financial support for the nvay to receive treatment in a better condition. 

On the other hand, Kim Hee-jae was confirmed to be infected by COVID-19 on the same day while in isolation after recently having worked with Park Tae-hwan and Mo Tae-bum in a TV Chosun variety show 'Ppong School'.
