SEOUL, Sept. 15 (Yonhap) -- The drama "Tokyo Vice," produced by Global Studio People Season, which is taken over by CJ ENM, will be aired in Korea.
"Tokyo Vice," based on the autobiography of reporter Jake Adelstein from Japan's newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun , is a crimal Noir genre drama which depicts an American reporter employed by a Japanese newspaper suffering while covering the Yakuza criminal case. It was released overseas through HBO Max in last April.
Actor Ansel Elgott plays an American reporter, and Watanabe Ken plays a detective in charge of organized crime at the Tokyo Police Agency.
It will be aired every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. on CATCH ON 2 and 11:30 p.m. on TVing starting Friday.
