SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Yonhap) -- Former NewJeans member Danielle, who is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with her former agency ADOR after being notified of the termination of her exclusive contract, will begin her first individual activity since the split.

According to Kim & Chang’s rival law firm HwaWoo, which represents Danielle, the singer will host a live broadcast titled “Live Message” at 7 p.m. Monday via her personal Instagram and YouTube channels.

During the live stream, Danielle plans to personally share updates and greetings with fans in Korea and abroad. She also opened a personal Instagram account earlier in the day and posted a notice about the upcoming broadcast.

This will mark the first time Danielle has directly addressed fans since the termination of her exclusive contract.

However, HwaWoo stressed that the live session is intended purely for communication with fans and will not touch on the ongoing lawsuit.

Danielle had previously been involved in a dispute with ADOR over the validity of her exclusive contract. After losing a lawsuit seeking confirmation of the contract’s validity, she expressed her intention to return to the agency, but ADOR notified her of the contract’s termination last month.

ADOR has also filed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 43 billion won (US$32 million) against Danielle, her family and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.
