SEOUL, Oct. 8 (Yonhap) -- Woo Hye-rim (29) of former girl band Wonder Girls and Taekwondo champion Shin Min-cheol (36) are becoming parents to a child.
The married couple announced Woo’s pregnancy through their YouTube channel, “Lim’s diary,” Friday.
“We have come to deliver the news (of pregnancy) with pounding hearts. Currently I am in an early stage of pregnancy,” said Woo.
“Our daily life and all the senses and every cell from our heads to toes are all towards our baby,” said Shin with a happy face.
“We hope this announcement to be a pleasant news to you all and something you can all congratulate us about. We will try our best as pre-mother and father,” said the couple to be parents.
The two married in July 2020 after 7 years of dating.
Woo joined Wonder Girls in 2010 and later performed well as an entertainer and an interpretertranslator. Shin is performing as the head of extreme Taekwondo team “Mirme.”
