SEOUL, August 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korean thriller Webtoon, “Murderer’s DIEary” (working title) also known as “Murderer and The Toy” will be produced as a Netflix series.

Drama “Murderer’s DIEary” based on the webtoon by Kkomabi will feature S.Korean actor Choi Woo-shik, Son Suk-ku and Lee Hee-joon, announced Netflix on Friday.

“Murderer’s DIEary” is a webtoon about a guy who accidentally starts to commit murder, and detective who goes on a while chase in order to capture the murderer.

Actor Choi Woo-sik will be acting out college student Lee Tang who comes to a realization that he can identify evil after his accidental murder.

Son Suk-ku will act out the detective Jang Nan Gam who is after Lee Tang for his murder, and actor Lee Hee-joon will be acting former detective Song Chon who is after missing Lee Tang all by himself.

Netflix series of “Murderer’s DIEary” will be directed by director Lee Chang-hee who is known for his drama “Hell is Other People,” movie “The Vanished” and more, the script will be written by writer Kim Da-min.

For the production, company SHOWBOX known for “Itaewon Class” and Let’s Film known for their movies “Moss” and “Eungyo” will take charge of producing “Murderer’s DIEary.”
