SEOUL, July 26 (Yonhap) -- South Korean Cable TV channel ENA which drew a lot of fame from the success of the drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will be premiering various types of new drama in the second half of 2022.
On Tuesday, following up on “Extra Ordinary Woo” channel ENA announced they will premier a drama called “Good Job” starring Jung Il-woo and Kwon Yu-ri, “Love that will freeze to death” starring Choi Si-won and Lee Da-hee, “Unlock the Boss” starring Chae Jong-hyeop, Park Sung-woong, and Seo Eun-soo, and more.
“Good Job” is a romantic crime solving drama lead by male and female protagonists with special abilities. Eun Sun-woo acted by Jug Il-woo is a detective with massive capital, whereas Don Se-ra acted by Kwon Yu-ri who has super vision will collaborate on solving crimes.
Drama “Love That will Freeze to Death” is a romance drama which will feature couple in 30s. It will be directed by director Choi Kyu Shik, for his work such as “Let’s Eat”, “Rude Miss Young-ae”, “Drinking Solo” and more. Also writer Kim Sol-ji known for her work “Pegasus Market” will participate on the production.
Moreover, drama “Unlock the Boss” is based on a Naver Webtoon with the same title which unfolds the story of a corporate boss who accidently gets locked in a smart phone, and a guy who also accidently picks up the phone collaborating on finding the truth. S.Korean actor Chae Jong-hyeop, Park Sung-woong actress Seo Eun-soo and more have been casted. One of the co writer of famous Netflix series “Sweet Home” Kim Hyung-min will work on the scenario, and director of “Okay Madam” Lee Cheol-ha will direct the drama.
Cable channel ENA recently premiered a comedic military drama “New Recruit” on June 23 which is based on the animation produced by the YouTube channel “Jang Bbijju” unfolds a story of newly recruited soldier and his daily life through comedic story.
Cable channel ENA which started providing its service in 2004 is considered one of the main channels of SKY TV’s, which is KT Group’s Multi Program Provider. SKY TV now has total of 7 channels including ENA.
