YONGIN, Feb. 28 (Yonhap) – Korean Folk Village announced on Feb. 28 that it will hold the special performance “The Day, Our Voices” to mark the March 1 Independence Movement Day in towns inside the village on Mar. 1 at 1:50 p.m.
Korean Folk Village is a traditional Korean cultural themed park located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.
March 1, 1919 is when the national movement for Korea's independence from Japanese colonial rule started through street rallies.
In the event, the popular characters of the Folk Village will transform into independence activists and read the Korean Declaration of Independence and give three cheers with the audience to reenact the Independence Movement.
Korean Folk Village will share mini flags of South Korea for free in front of the main gate on the day of the event.
