SEOUL, Apr. 6 (Yonhap) -- K-pop supergroup BTS’ Suga has been named the global ambassador for the National Basketball Association (NBA).
The professional basketball league brought the news to its social space with an interview video of Suga on Thursday afternoon.
“As a person who loved basketball since a kid, I am truly honored to be the global ambassador for the NBA,” the multi-faceted singer said in the video. “I will make sure to show and share everything about the NBA.”
