Russian piano master Elisso Virsalaze to hold concert in Korea

SEOUL, Nov. 7 (Yonhap) -- Russian pianist Eliso Virsalaze (80) will hold a concert in Korea on Nov. 24 at Yonsei Kumho Art Hall.

Pianist, who is performing at Kumho Art Hall again after four years, will play works by Mozart and Chopin.

Virsalaze, who is continuing the Russian pianism with sophisticated interpretation and delicate performance, is considered a world-class expert in the piano world, serving as a jury of world-class competitions such as the Tchaikovsky Competition and the Rubinstein Competition.

Prior to the concert, she will hold a master class for musicians from Kumho Youngjae and young artists at the Kumho Art Hall studio on Nov.24
