SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Yonhap) -- DAY6 will host a special concert next month at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome to become the first K-pop band to hold a solo concert at this venue, its agency said on Tuesday.
Titled "The Present," the concert will take place on Dece. 20-21.
The band's management, JYP Entertainment, said the concert will lay a milestone in DAY6's career, marking nine years since their debut in 2015.
Earlier this year, DAY6 achieved full-capacity sellouts with concerts at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in April, drawing over 34,000 attendees, and at Inspire Arena in Incheon in September, with over 40,000 attendees. This string of sold-out shows highlights DAY6's growth and popularity as a leading K-pop band.
The Present is a new version of their annual year-end concert series, which has become a tradition for the band.
Following this event, DAY6 will embark on an expansive world tour with performances in Singapore, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Manila, and Sydney and Melbourne in Australia.
