CHUNCHEON, June 24 (Yonhap) -- The sky is bright and clear as the Korean Peninsula begins to experience a midsummer heat wave ahead of the rainy season. In the historic mountain Buddhist temple of Cheongpyeongsa in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, stands an ancient three-story stone pagoda, which holds a piece of the past. The tall pagoda allows passing visitors to question what kind of story the layers of rock hold within itself.
