SEOUL, Mar. 15 (Yonhap) -- MONSTA X’s Kihyun will drop the single album “VOYAGER” today at 6 p.m. and begin his first trip as a solo artist in 7 years since his debut.

“VOYAGER” depicts Kihyun’s story of a voyage to a new world, from a perspective of a traveler.

The title song “VOYAGER” highlights Kihyun’s refreshing vocals with the addictive bass, and guitar sounds.

A total of three tracks including “, (COMMA),” which Kihyun wrote the lyrics for the first time and “RAIN,” which expresses the emotions of a breakup, will be on the album.

Kihyun explained in a QnA released by Starship Entertainment, “I was more nervous thinking I had to do everything on my own and a bit worried of how our fans would look at my color,” adding, “I put in various points that fans who enjoy my music style would be interested to listen to.”

The artist said, “Even though it’s my solo album, ‘VOYAGER’ is filled with MONSTA X’s love,” adding, “Thank you and I love you.”
