BUSAN, May 23 (Yonhap) -- The production team of Apple TV+ original series "Pachinko," which has gained global popularity worldwide, will attend the Busan Contents Market(BCM), which will be held from June 8.

The Busan Contents Market organization committee announced on Monday that the production team of the drama "Pachinko" will attend this year's BCM International Conference to vividly tell the story of the scene, including the production process and episodes from the filming set.

The conference will be joined by the series’ co-executive producers David Kim and Sebastian Lee.

Moreover, actor Lee Dae-ho, who played the father of the main character "Sun-ja," and actor Joo Yeong-ho, who plays Song, will attend together to honor the event.

"Pachinko" is an original series in which Apple TV+ invested $1 billion, and it has drawn great attention in the U.S., Japan, and Korea since the release in March, 2022, ranking No. 1 on the Over-the-top media service(OTT).

The drama, based on the best-selling novel by Korean American author Lee Min-jin, vividly depicts the turbulent history of a Korean diaspora, which centers around Sun-ja, traveling between Busan and Osaka in the Japanese colonial period of the 1920s and Busan, New York and Tokyo in the 1980s.
