SEOUL, April 30 (Yonhap) -- AppleTV+ announced on Saturday to renew its Korean original series “Pachinko” for a second season.
The show, based on the novel of the same title written by Korean-American Min-jin Lee, is a story about a Korean family moving to Japan over four generations. Actors Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Min-ho, Kim Min-ha, and Jin Ha starred in the series.
Soo Hugh, the writer and showrunner of “Pachinko” said, “I am beyond happy to be able to continue the special story of this family with strong vitality. It's an honor to work with amazing actors and staff.”
