SEOUL, Nov. 30 (Yonhap) -- Hook Entertainment CEO Kwon Jin-young,regarding the conflict with singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, said on Wednesday that "I will take the responsibility by disposing my personal property."

In an email to press on the same day, CEO Kwon said, "Whether it's a dispute or a misunderstanding, responsibility must follow from the beginning to the end. I hope no harm is done to company Hook Entertainment, which I have been at for 25 years, and to my artists."

Kwon also said, "Regarding the conflict with Lee Seung-gi, I will keep a low profile and take all the responsibility, without avoiding, by disposing my personal properties."

Kwon apologized, "I am sorry to everyone including Hook Entertainment staffs whose everyday must have been hell after the sudden incident and those who came across news that they did not want to see.

Previously, Lee Seung-gi has stated that he has never been paid as a singer from Hook Ent. and submitted a proof of content regarding the unpaid music usage fee.

Hook Ent. confronted that they have signed a contract regarding the issue after checking the settlement details, but Lee rebutted their claims stating that the contract in 2021 was for the real estate investment, not music fee.
