SEOUL, Oct. 5 (Yonhap) -- "I will present healthy stimulation with natural seasoning, not MSG (MonoSodium Glutamate)."
Producer Lee Hyeong-sun of MBC daily drama "Witch's Game" said, "I will show top level of daily drama by developing story line fast and by directing video and music sophisticatedly " during an online press conference of the drama on Thursday.
Producer said, "We call drama "Bad" if story line does not make sense and poor, but 'Witch's Game' did not miss its probability," adding, "It will be an work to secretly look into the deepest part of human's emotion."
Actors Jang Seo-hee and Kim Gyu-sun will work together as mother and daughter.
Jang Seo-hee, who returned to the drama scene in five years, said, "I want to show acting that goes beyond viewers' expectations thinking 'Another revenge drama?'" adding, "This time, revenge is based on maternal affection, not personal."
Jang transforms into Sul You-kyung who lives as faithful servant to get back to CEO Ma of Cheoha group.
She said, "I am working on studying things I have not experienced because I have not been arried or have child," adding, "Viewers will forget my name and remember me as Sul You-kyung."
Kim Gyu-sun will play as Sul You-kyung's daughter, Jung Hae-su. She is a bright and cheerful character eventhough she loses her boyfriend of 10 years to her friend.
Kim Gyu-sun said, "I get bullied alot from characters Joo Sae-young and Kang Ji-ho," adding, "Joo Sae-young hurts me with mean words smiling while Kang Ji-ho hurts me showing his desire and
intention plainly."
She chose "Fast story development that amuses her everytime she receives the script" as the viewing point.
Actor Oh Chang-seok takes the role as Kang Ji-ho, who abjectly leaves his common-law lover who took care of him when he was preparing for the bar exam.
Actor Oh said, "Although I have played many villain roles in the past, he is naturally mean character, not someone who began evil because of certain situation," adding, "I hope to get lots of mean words."
