SEOUL, October 12 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's biggest music streaming platform Melon announced on October 12 that they will be holding a fan participated awards event "My idol, My Award" before the "Melon Music Awards 2022." 

 

Fans will be able to participate through the Melon application and their website until October 25 by writing the award they want to give their favorite artist and the reason behind it. Fans will be able to give hearts to different award names made up by other fans to recommend the award. 

 

Top 10 artists with most hearts will actually get a physical medal. 
 

The fans who came up with the top 10 awards will be provided with invitations to the "Melon Music Awards."
