SEOUL, December 25 (Yonhap) -- "I feel like I'm standing at a certain turning point where I nEed to accept change and get a new mindset," said Seo Tai-ji, a 'cultural president' singer, said on December 24,marking his 30th anniversary of debut.

Seo Tae-ji wrote on his official Instagram this afternoon, "I believe that I have to go thorough this step well in order to go to the next step and do well."

He formed a three-member group, Seo Taiji and Boys, and released the title song, "I Know," in 1992, and it laid the cornerstone of today's K-pop hype.

Seo Tae-ji said, "This year was the 30th anniversary of my debut," and continued, "My fans must have been disappointed because it passed so quietly."

Seo Tai-ji has been inactive recently, but he has been reporting his recent status on social media once a year on Christmas Eve every year.

"Maybe the news my fans want to know the most is about a new album," Seo said to fans waiting for his new album. "I'm worried that it might not be available in an  year or two as of now," adding, "It's a complex situation, so it's hard to explain now, but there's nothing bad to worry about." He added, "I'm just trying my best to find an answer."

"I feel heavy and upset that I am not able to make any promises today," he said. "But I'll share my recents sometimes, so don't worry, and I'd appreciate it if you put it down for a while and wait comfortably with a little long breath."
