SEOUL, June 29 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group aespa visited Warner Records in the United States.
According to SM Entertainment on Tuesday (local time) aespa visited the headquarter of Warner Records located in Los Angeles with C.E.O Lee Sung-ku and Tak Young-jun.
Member of aespa and C.E.Os of SM Entertainment met with the C.O.O Tom Corson, C.E.O Aaron Bay Schuck and more crucial figures of Warner Records. Previously SM Entertainment signed an partnership agreement with Warner Record on behalf of aespa’s music and content distribution.
Aespa was lead by the C.O.O Tom Corson on the tour of the Warner Record.
According to the SM Entertainment, after seeing the wall full of aespa’s photos and balloon decoration of aespa’s initials, four of the members each left a small note and their signature.
American singer Bebe Rexha and Tik Tok celebrity Bella Poarch who is under the Warner Bros Record left a greeting message to aespa and welcomed her as a member of “Warner Record Girls Club.”
When aespa debuted they drew a lot of attention due to the interesting multiverse they introduced where both aespa and their avatars both co exist.
Aespa has made their names with their hit songs “Black Mamba”, “Next Level”, “Savage” and more, in July they are releasing their 2nd mini album “Girl” in the United States.
Their 2nd mini album will feature a title track with has the same name as the album title “Girls” which will highlight aespa’s confident vocals and rapping skills.
This song portrays the aftermath of aespa and their avatar twin’s fight against the evil “Black Mamba” and how they have matured alongside their helper “Narvis”.
SM Entertainment announced that “Since this will be the finale of the SM Culture Universe (shortened SMCU) it will get enthusiastic responses from the music fans from all over the world.”
