SEOUL, Feb. 24 (Yonhap) -- The Daegu Opera House will be accepting entries for the upcoming 20th Daegu International Opera Festival, the institution announced Friday.
Any contestant that belongs to the Culture and Arts Organizations in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, which was responsible for organizing opera festivals for the past five years, can apply.
After passing through the documentation and offline interviews, the winners will perform twice during the Daegu International Opera Festival from October to November. The winners will have their performance expenses partially supported.
Contestants who wish to participate can download the submission form from the official website of Daegu Opera House (www.daeguoperahouse.org) and submit via e-mail (doh2013@hanmail.net). The Festival will be accepting entries until Mar. 10.
Participants will also be asked to attach videos or brochures of their former performances.
