SEOUL, May 2 (Yonhap) – “Papa Park Saves Children,” the social contribution activity in collaboration of Park Hang-seo, the head coach of Vietnamese national football team, and small and medium-sized company, has donated ten million won to young patients in Vietnam.
Coach Park contributed donations of ten million won to Saint Paul General Hospital, the local children’s hospital, at Hanoi Grand Plaza Hotel on Apr. 30, according to the sports management agency DJ Entertainment.
“Papa Park Saves Children” is a project where Korean small and medium-sized companies, which entered Vietnamese market, donate 5 percent of their selling price as the funds of social contribution for children with director Park.
This donation was joined by “EVERGOOD,” the export company of fresh produce. EVERGOOD was established in 1987 and entered more than ten countries while selling pear, strawberry, and shine muscat as its main force.
Coach Park said, “We continued the project ‘Papa Park Saves Children,’ which could not proceed due to COVID-19 so far,” adding, “I hope the project does not finish as a one-off and will search ways to constantly support children.
Vietnamese national football team will participate in the 31st Southeast Asian Games, the greatest Southeast Asian sports festival, which will be held in June, and challenge to win two consecutive games under the leadership of coach Park.
