Chungha to Release New EP 'Alivio' at 6 P.M.

SEOUL, Feb. 12 (Yonhap) -- K-pop diva Chungha will make her comeback with a new EP, "Alivio," on Wednesday across various online music platforms at 6 p.m.

 

Chungha on Wednesday shared the second music video teaser for the title track "STRESS" from her upcoming EP through her official YouTube and social media accounts.

 

The teaser features a bold scene where Chungha walks out of a crowded classroom, ending with a provocative gesture symbolizing a "middle finger" that delivers a shocking yet powerful impact. With a confident expression and strong presence, she captivates viewers. The teaser also includes the text "HOW TO DEAL WITH STRESS," hinting at a journey through confusion, conflict, and liberation from stress.

 

"Alivio," meaning "relief" and "comfort," encapsulates Chungha's deepest emotions and honest stories. One of the two title tracks, "STRESS," plays a central role in guiding the emotional flow of the album. Chungha participated in writing the lyrics, expressing the release of suppressed feelings due to stress and her courage to pursue happiness in her own way.

 

Ahead of the release, Chungha has been generating buzz by sharing challenge videos and engaging with global fans through various content.
