SEOUL, June 19 (Yonhap) –-Group TO1 will be making a comeback next month after reorganizing its members.

"While three members, Minsu, Jerome, and Woonggi, will leave the team, new members including Daigo, Renta, and Yeojeong will join, and will still be a 9-member group,” Wake One Entertainment announced on Friday.

The newly joined members, Daigo and Renta who are Japanese members, ranked 13th and 16th on the second season of “Produce 101 Japan” and thus, are familiar to the local fans.

"Minsu, Jerome, and Woonggi, who are leaving the team, are preparing for a new start," the agency said. "We will continue to support their new start.”

TO1, with new members, is scheduled to release a new album in July.

"After a lot of discussion, we have decided to re-establish the identity of the team and take on a new challenge,” the agency said. “From the second half of this year, we plan to start going global.”

TO1 made their official debut in April of the following year after making their name known through the Mnet audition “To Be World Klass,” aired in 2019. At that time, the group name was TOO, but the team name was changed after the problem of the management company arose.
