SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Yonhap) -- The legendary "eternal entertainer" Park Jin-young revealed that he has released a total of 675 songs over his 30-year career, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the journey.

According to JYP Entertainment on January 7, Park shared this milestone during his year-end concert, Still JYP, held December 27–29 at Seoul's Olympic Hall. "While preparing for this concert, I asked the Korean Music Copyright Association how many songs I've written and composed. They told me 675," he said. "That means I've released an average of two songs a month for 30 years."

Park added, "Having so many songs to sing with all of you after 30 years makes me incredibly happy."

Since his debut with "Don't Leave Me" in 1994, Park has delivered countless hits and remained active in the industry. Beyond his career as a singer, he has also produced numerous K-pop stars, including g.o.d, Rain, and Wonder Girls.

Reflecting on the evolution of music consumption, Park said, "When I debuted with 'Don't Leave Me,' I released my first album on vinyl. Then vinyl was replaced by cassette tapes, followed by CDs. After that, people started downloading music, and now we’re in the streaming era. The way people listen to music has changed, but thanks to all of you, I’ve been able to weather all these transitions and continue as a singer."

He also reiterated his passion for performing, saying, "I love singing and dancing in front of you, which is why I keep doing this. I once promised to deliver my best performance at 60, and now, with just seven more concerts to go, that promise feels closer. Please join me seven more times," he joked, drawing laughter from the audience.

Looking back on his beginnings, Park said, "When I first started singing, I never thought it would become a career. My first song reached No. 1, and that recognition made me decide to pursue this professionally. I dreamed of still being a singer after 30 years, and now here I am."

Park Jin-young will continue celebrating his milestone with a solo concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan on February 20–21.
