SEOUL, Sept. 14 (Yonhap) -- A dating show where single men and women date with their wrists tied in chains will be aired.

Coupang play held a press conference for its first dating reality show "Chain Reaction" on Wednesday at Conrad hotel in Seoul.

"Chain Reaction" is a reality show where eight singles go to Saipan, and those selected as couple of the day enjoy various dates while their wrists are tied together.

Kim Yong-dae producer said, "It is an era where people are more open about love." He also revealed the intention of the program, "I wanted to see the change in emotion by using the chain."

He continued, "It started with the idea can a new synergy be created if strangers with no information are put together," adding, "I was curious if being closer brings hearts closer."

Producers said chain was a device to bring out honest feelings while there were concerns that tying people with chain limits their freedom.

Yoo In-na. Zico, Lee Jin-ho, and Brave Girls' Yujeong will be on the show as panels.
