SEOUL October 31 (Yonhap) -- Goseong County located in south Gyeongsang Province addressed on Monday, that they have successfully ended their “Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo 2022” which kicked off on October 1 and ended on October 30.
Over 160 thousand people who paid for the admission fee visited the main exhibition at the Danghangpo Tourist site throughout the expo.
Although Goseong county government invested over 2 billion won in order to host the “Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo 2022” through admission fee, food, beverage stands and various paid attractions the county earned over 3.6 billion won.
Goseong County is globally known for their discoveries on fossilized footprints of dinosaurs.
The County government decided to host “Gyeongnam Goseng Dinosaur World Expo” in both 2022 and 2021, despite of their routine of hosting the expo once three to four years.
After the county government successfully ended the expo, they have addressed that they have successfully branded Goseong as the world of dinosaur.
