SEOUL, June 20 (Yonhap) –- Rookie girl group Lapillus debuted on June 20 with their digital single “HIT YA!”

According to MLD Entertainment, amongst Lapillus’s Chanty, Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seo-won and Hae-un three of the members are from abroad. Chanty has Philippine and Argentina, Shana has Japanese and Yue has U.S. citizenship.

“Chanty is quadrilingual speaking Korean, English, Tagalog and Spanish” adding “based on multilingual ability, members of Lapillus will actively communicate with fans around the world.” explained MLD Entertainment.

As Philippine’s high teen star, Chanty appeared in numerous music videos before her debut. Leader Shana participated in “Girls Planet 999: the girls saga” leaving a positive image to its viewers. Adding on, daily blogs of Chanty and Shana was uploaded for fans before their debut.

Lapillus’s debut song “HIT YA!” contains their ambition and confidence as rookies of K-pop girl group. With 808 bass, rough electric guitar sounds and their chant “irya” (translated) from the hook of their title "HIT YA!" is one of the attention grabbing points.

Lee Seung-chul, South Korean singer worked as their vocal director.

“It is the first time Lee Seung-chul directed dance song” adding “not only will Lapillus show high quality performance, but their ability to sing will be great as well.” said the LMD Entertainment.
