SEOUL, April 28 (Yonhap) -- Jazz singer Nah Youn-sun will take the stage in “International Jazz Day - All Star Global Concert” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, on April 30th (local time), according to the agency NPLUG, Thursday.
International Jazz Day was established in 2011 by UNESCO to achieve peace, unity, and cooperation through diverse series of performances by leading jazz artists.
Nah will participate in the concert, joining pianist John Beasley, drummer Terri Lyne Carrington, and bassist Linda May Han Oh.
The agency introduced, “The highlight of this concert is that all the participants will play John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ together at the end,” adding, “It is more meaningful because Nah participated in singing in Korean.”
Nah is currently on a world tour between Europe and the United States. The singer will host a national tour in December, from Sejong Center.
