SEOUL, July 18 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK's new single "JUMP" has held the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart for five consecutive days, YG Entertainment announced Friday.

The group first reached the top of the chart last Saturday (local time), setting a new record for the most No. 1 songs by a K-pop group. They maintained their lead through July 16, marking five straight days at No. 1.

"'JUMP' continues to rank high on Spotify charts in countries across Europe, North America, and Asia, and it reached as high as No. 15 in the United States, marking a new personal best for the group," YG said.

The track surpassed 46 million cumulative streams on Spotify in less than a week since its release.

"JUMP" also topped the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart and climbed as high as No. 3 on the Melon Top 100 chart, demonstrating its strong domestic and international popularity.

The song’s music video has maintained the No. 1 position on YouTube’s global Daily Trending Music Videos chart for six consecutive days.

BLACKPINK is currently on their world tour "DEADLINE," performing 31 shows across 16 cities including the United States, France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
