SEOUL, Mar. 17 (Yonhap) -- The second season of the musical “Beethoven” will take the stage of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul from Apr. 14 to May 15. The first season will wrap up on Mar. 26, the organizer EMK Musical Company confirmed Friday.

The creative musical, which had its premiere at the Opera Theater of the Seoul Arts Center in January, will move its stage to Sejon Center for the Performing Arts in April and meet the audience with partially modified character settings and background music.

Veteran musical actors Park Hyo-shin, who is also a preeminent South Korean singer, Park Eun-tae, and Kai have been slated to appear as Beethoven, while Cho Jung-eun will play the role of Brentano. In the meantime, veteran musical actresses Ock Joo-hyun and Yoon Gong-ju will be on the stage as they did in the first season.

This creative musical is also known as the work that the world-renowned musical duo Michael Kunch and Sylvester Levi unveiled in public for the first time in seven years. It follows the story of Beethoven growing into a classic music master with the love of his life Antony Brentano.

The musical drew nationwide attention for its interpretation of Beethoven’s piano sonatas and concertos, as well as its glowing cast including Park Hyo-shin, Ock Joo-hyun, Park Eun-tae, Cho Jung-eun, and Yoon Gong-ju.
