SEOUL March 11 (Yonhap) -- Seoul Art Center will be showcasing various “Matinee Concert” (concert being held in the morning.)

To start things off well known South Korean bassist Youn Kwang-chul will take the stage and perform Schubert’s pieces and Wagner’s Opera Arias on March 9 at 11 a.m. Throughout the performance, South Korean actor Kang Seok-woo will be at the scene as a commentator

Youn Kwang-chul mad name for himself by receiving the grand prize at the Operalia Competition in Paris in 1993 and started working within Europe as part of Berlin State Opera, moreover he was awarded with Kammersanger from German Government.

On March 18, at 11 a.m. a concert which will showcase various pieces by Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky will take place.

Pianist Kim Hong-gi and KBS Symphony orchestra will collaboratively showcase Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto NO.2 and Tchaikovsky’s symphony NO.4 in F minor.

Continuing on, the concert being held on March 24 at 11 a.m. “Heart Classic Concert With KT” will feature collaborative stages between KT Symphony Orchestra and Pianist Noh Ye-jin on pieces by Tchaikovsky such as “Piano Concerto No.1,” Mendelssohn’s “Concerto No.3 ‘Scotland’” and more.
