SEOUL March 17 (Yonhap) -- Maeil will be hosting their annual classical concert series “Maeil Classic” which has been going since 2003, starting on April 14, and continue on with the series through June 15, October 6, December 7 in total of four shows at Lotte Concert Hall.
The first concert which will take place on April 14, will kick off with the live performance of actress Im Jung-eun under the title of “Finding Myself” literal translation.
Continuing on, the performance scheduled on June 15, Maeil Classic will showcase a performance under the title of “Coffee House and Cabaret” which will provide the audience with European pieces from 28 to 19 century Europe such as Bach’s coffee cantata and more.
Moreover, on concert expected for October 6, Maeil Classic will showcase composer Choi Jae-hyuk, and ensemble Blank under the conduct of the composer where they will perform Ligeti Gyorgy, Bernhard Gillam and more of the contemporary composers of 20 century.
In the end, on December 7, the concert will showcase Tenor Shin Sang-geun, Soprano Suh Seon-young and their performance of Giacomo Puccini’s “La Boheme” in a setting of gala concert.
