SEOUL, Sept. 11 (Yonhap) -- K-pop stars BoA and TVXQ will release their first-ever duet, their agency SM Entertainment said Thursday.

They will sing “Anata wo Kazoete” for the soundtrack of the upcoming ABC TV Japanese drama “Even If All Love Ends.”

Since debuting in 2000 and 2003, respectively, this marks the first time BoA and TVXQ have collaborated on a release. The ballad duet conveys the sorrowful emotions of parting and missed encounters.

“I’m happy to finally release a collaboration track with TVXQ, with whom I’ve been active for over 20 years,” BoA said. “It will deliver a special sentiment only BoA and TVXQ can express.”

Max Changmin of TVXQ said, “It is an honor to finally work with BoA. Each part of the duet has its own charm, and I hope many people will sing along together.”

“Even If All Love Ends” premieres Oct. 12 in Japan. The release date of the soundtrack has yet to be announced.
