SEOUL, Dec. 9 (Yonhap) -- The Korea National Ballet announced Thursday that they will cancel some of “The Nutcracker” Seoul performances as one of the members has been tested positive of the COVID-19 infection.
The National Ballet has cancelled their Daegu performance planned on the 5th and Jeonju performance planned on the 10th~11th due a confirmed case. All staff and members took the test as well.
“All the members who took part in the performance were tested negative but as some members are has to be monitored or go into self-quarantine, there have been some changes to the performance and practice schedules,” said the Ballet.
So they decided to cancel eight “The Nutcracker” Seoul performances scheduled for 14th~19th at the Seoul Arts Center Opera House. The following performances on 21st~26th will take place as scheduled.
They added that they will make full refund without commission for the cancelled performances.
