Shinhwa’s Andy announces marriage with 9 years younger announcer

SEOUL, Jan. 19 (Yonhap) -- Shinhwa’s Andy released a hand-written letter on his SNS and announced his marriage plans saying, “There is one person that I want to be with the rest of my life,” on Wednesday.

Andy said, “A person who makes me laugh even in difficult times and truly cares about me,” adding, “I want to live a life together and not alone.”

“I hope you can bless our new start. I will continue to show a better side as Andy of Shinhwa,” explained the artist.
 

According to the music industry, Andy’s partner is a 9 years younger announcer.

The two are preparing for their marriage and will announce the date later.

After the news of the wedding, a post was uploaded on Shinhwa's official SNS expressing gratitude to fans, saying, "Andy, who is warm, friendly, and the youngest member of Shinhwa, now has a beautiful start with a precious relationship."

Andy is the third member to become married in Shinhwa. Earlier, Eric (Mun Jung-Hyuk) married the actress Na Hye-mi in 2017, and Junjin (Park Choong-jae) married Ryu Yi-seo in 2020.

Shinhwa debuted with the album “The Solver” in 1998 and has gained popularity with hit songs including “Brand New,” “Wild Eyes,” “I Pray 4 U,” and “T.O.P.”

Andy is the sub-rapper and lead dancer of the group and starred in acting and entertainment programs.
