SEOUL, Aug. 5 (Yonhap) -- The original members of "C’est Si Bon," the legendary birthplace of Korea’s folk music scene, will reunite for the first time in 57 years to embark on their final nationwide tour.

Concert organizer Show Plus announced Tuesday that singers Song Chang-sik, Jo Young-nam, Yoon Hyung-joo, Kim Se-hwan, and TV personality Lee Sang-byeok will headline the "C’est Si Bon: The Last Concert" tour. The tour will kick off at Seongnam Arts Center on Sept. 6 and continue with a performance at Seoul Olympic Park’s Olympic Hall on Oct. 11 before traveling to other cities across the country.

Originally a music lounge and live venue located in Seoul’s Mugyo-dong in the 1960s, C’est Si Bon served as a cultural hub that shaped Korea’s youth music culture and produced a generation of prominent folk singers. The venue and its influence were also captured in the 2015 film "C’est Si Bon."

The concert will bring together key figures from the C’est Si Bon era, including Jo Young-nam, Yoon Hyung-joo and Song Chang-sik of the folk duo "Twin Folio," as well as Kim Se-hwan, the youngest member of the group. Lee Sang-byeok, who hosted popular programs like "College Students’ Night" at the venue, will also take part in the tour.

According to the organizers, this is the first time in 57 years that all five original C’est Si Bon members will share the same stage.

The C’est Si Bon members experienced renewed popularity after appearing on a variety show in 2010, which led to several nationwide concert tours. However, Jo Young-nam was absent from the 2011 tour, and Song Chang-sik did not participate in the 2015 series of concerts.

Show Plus stated that this upcoming tour will be the final one held under the name "C’est Si Bon."

The concert will be directed by writer Kim Il-tae, known for hit shows such as "Enjoy Saturday" and "Saturday Grand March." The performance will feature the group’s iconic hits, collaborative stages with younger artists, and segments highlighting the performers’ long-standing friendships.

Kim Seok, CEO of Show Plus, said, "These five artists, who defined the golden age of Korean folk music, agreed to reunite one last time under the name 'C’est Si Bon Friends.' The tour will be a celebration that commemorates and comforts the youth of a generation that lived through an era."

"C’est Si Bon: The Last Concert" will begin at the Seongnam Arts Center Opera House on Sept. 6 and move to Seoul on Oct. 11. The tour will then travel to cities including Busan, Incheon, Suwon, Goyang, Daegu, and Daejeon.
